As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with our clients. Your role will be that of the main advisor and you will work closely with the dedicated Project Manager to meet and surpass the expectations of our clients.
If you are coming from the language industry background or have a clear understanding of the importance of linguistic solutions for business success and know how to develop and maintain strong long-term relationships with clients, we are the perfect employer for you.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify decision makers and set meetings with targeted leads to begin the sales process
  • Identify the new business opportunities and the right timing to introduce the client to the best industry practices
  • Collaborate with thr Production and Business Development team to determine the necessary strategic approaches
  • Strategic planning of ramp-up iniativies with vendor management
  • Monitoring of Project Managers in the project process
  • Reach sales and profit margin targets
  • Negotiate pricing and contractual agreements to close sales
  • Proactive identification of potential issues in ongoing projects
  • Establishing, developing and maintaing relationship selling
  • Reporting on market trends in the industry and sharing inside sales information

Qualifications:

  • 3- or 4-year Bachelor’s Degree
  • 1–3 years of direct experience in sales
  • High commercial awareness
  • Solid experience in opportunity qualification, pre-call planning, call control, account development, and time management
  • Success in qualifying opportunities involving multiple key decision makers
  • Strong problem identification and objection resolution skills
  • Ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers
  • Exceptional verbal communication and presentation skills but also impeccable writing skills
  • Strong team player, but also a self-starter
  • Ability to achieve and exceed targets while working under pressure
  • Fluent English speaker is a must. Fluency in the German language is a plus.
