Conference interpretation in October 2011 – 3 important conferences

The autumn months are traditionally marked by a large number of conferences and business meetings. Good organization of the above manifestations implies conference interpretation of the speeches, presentations and discussions with the technical support of conference equipment. During October, Ciklopea participated in three important events as the conference interpretation services provider, along with their partners that served as providers of conference equipment.

The first event, held in Zagreb at the Westin Hotel on 10 and 11 October, was organized by the Croatian Government, the Croatian Chamber of Commerce and the Employers Association with the support of the International Investment Bank. The objective of the forum “Invest in Croatia” was the removal of obstacles to investment. Ciklopea participated with 10 interpreters for 5 languages: English, German, French, Italian and Russian.

Less than two weeks later, in Makarska, in the Meteor Hotel, the final conference of the Mobbing Association’s project titled IPA 2008 CIVIL SOCIETY FACILITY “Network for health and safety at work” was held.  CIKLOPEA’ s interpreters mediated between Croatian, English and Macedonian.

The last in the sequence of the October conferences was held in Zagreb at the Panorama Hotel on 29 and 30 October 2011. It was a conference of the Association of Psychotherapy Societies of Croatia (SPUH) titled “The truth about psychotherapy”. The conference was followed and attended by English language speakers for whom conference interpretation was organized.  Ciklopea Ltd also acted as a partner of this conference offering its sponsorship to the event.
