High quality of expert texts requires research of the terminology and language and expert (technical) revision and correction.

The essential phases of the process are translation, terminology research (including consultations with the experts in a certain field such as doctors, engineers, lawyers, economists, etc.), revision, expert (technical) revision and correction.

Revision is a more wider approach to the process of editing and improving a text. It consists of reviewing the language of the original or translated material such as removing the spelling and grammatical mistakes and stylistic adjustment to a certain language. The corrections of the original or translated material can include the choice of words, morphology, syntax or stylistic editing of the text. That way the text is edited, it becomes stylistically impeccable, the cohesion, clarity and simplicity of reading it are improved and any inconsistency within the text is removed. The revisor doesn't change the expert terminology without consulting the client. In case of inconsistency with a certain term, the revisor  warns about the problem and suggests a better solution in a note.

Expert revision includes the review and and expert revision of the translated materials based on the analysis of the source (multilanguage) text and translation. Expert revision particularly includes checking whether the expert terms are correct, suggestions of appropriate expert terms and editing the translation in accordance with the nomotechnical rules. Expert revision is done by specialists in a certain field of expertise such as doctors, engineers, lawyers, economists, etc. While deciding on  the appropriate expert terms and phrases, as well as expert text design,  the revisor suggests solutions in accordance with the Croatian language and tradition but without changing the meaning and the particularity of the original material in the process.
